About Our Art Program Director: Carolina "Cara" Belloso
Ms.Cara is the owner and director of the Caló Gitano Alpharetta Flamenco Dance Company and Academy. She is professional flamenco dancer with more than 30 years dancing experience. Cara performed with the Atlanta Opera in their production of Carmen, and with the Caló Theater Company in their Holiday production “Once Upon a Christmas in Olelucía” and their most recent productions “Raíces,” “Sueños Andaluces” and “Wonderland” were she not only dances but signs and acts as well.
She has been an art and dance instructor for the last 7 years. Currently she is a co-choreographer with the Caló Theater group, where she is also in charge of the sets and set direction and she is the lead make-up artist.
